With numerous racers competing for the FLO Motorsports backed Manluk Rock River Racing Yamaha team on Saturday, all involved within the Yamaha assembly were diligently working to obtain the strongest results possible prior to the checkered flag waving in Indiana. As athletes raced within both, the 250MX and 450MX divisions upon the Ironman circuit, it was evident that each competitor was striving for the finish-line with their strongest effort(s).
The number seventy-eight of Grant Harlan would look to conclude the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross Championship with a hard-fought performance and would carry top-tier speed throughout practice en' route to securing twentieth on the overall leaderboard. And in the moto’s thereafter, Harlan’s will to succeed would be difficult for the competition to rival, as he continuously progressed throughout the entirety of both races amongst the afternoon. Eventually established in fourteenth (as moto-one was finalized) and fourteenth as well (as moto-two concluded) Harlan’s consistency throughout the afternoon would ultimately equate to a remarkable overall standing of twelfth in the 450MX division.
Connecticut’s Luca Marsalisi was outstanding in practice sessions at the Ironman National, following his top-twenty performance at the Budds Creek event last weekend. His momentum throughout qualification in Indiana would lead to a position of thirty-sixth being clenched, prior to beginning competition for moto’s one and two. Amongst the countless laps that were ran upon the demanding circuit, Luca’s aspirations of moving forward never ceased. The number 174 was constantly searching for the fastest lines as the track became rougher, which propelled him to final scores of twenty-ninth (in moto-one) and thirty-second (for moto two) to acquire an excellent finish of thirty-third amongst overall results.
Bronson McClure sped onto the racecourse in Indiana with a goal to battle with the world’s strongest professionals, and the number 352 would immediately establish his Yamaha amongst the top contenders as various practice sessions transpired. And for the LCQ, the Colorado native would accelerate to a phenomenal standing of third — which transferred his machine into the main events thereafter. He continued into the two-moto format of the afternoon showcase, where McClure constantly pursued higher standing amongst a challenging racecourse — to eventually conclude round eleven with well-respected moto scores of thirty-fourth (in moto-one) and thirty-third (in moto-two) to be finalized in thirty-sixth within the overall standing(s).
With the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross tour now completed, all within the Manluk Rock River Racing team would be recognized amongst the industry for displaying a tremendous work ethic throughout the season. Their preparation for the 2024 series is now set to begin, with the Yamaha assembly guaranteed to excel amongst the most prestigious championships in all of the world.
