With the initial round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship beginning on Saturday, the FLO Motorsports backed Manluk Rock River Racing Team would arrive at Angel Stadium with confidence. All members of the Yamaha assembly had prepared with the strongest of efforts, creating a winning atmosphere as practice was set to begin in the early afternoon hours.

The number 116 of TJ Albright would compete in the 250SX class, where the FLO Motorsports backed Yamaha athlete demonstrated precision and calculation as ruts began to develop on the racing surface. Obtaining a notable twenty-second place standing before transferring into the night show, he would sprint into the first heat with unwavering focus — taking advantage of a perfectly prepped track, while flying to the finish line to secure a finish of tenth as all was finalized. And for the LCQ, the rider from New York sprinted forward with tremendous courage; leaping over the largest gaps at extremely high speeds, while competing at the front of the pack. His approach and process of choosing lines was proficient, which led him to an incredible moto victory! Within the main event that followed, the New York native would thrive as well — competing with immense self-belief and fortitude, to earn sixteenth at the checkered flag, respectively.

For the 450SX class, Devin Simonson registered and excelled from the moment the first laps of qualification began. The track was challenging and extremely technical, but the number ninety-one would go even faster as lines were carved throughout the raceway. Eventually qualifying in thirty-fourth, his direct transfer designation to heat number one was remarkable — and as he battled through the laps thereafter with hard-fought effort, his final standing of twelfth was certainly well-respected. The Last Chance Qualifier was next to be completed, and as expected, Simonson put forth his strongest sense of race-craft from start to finish in the final sprint of the evening. Eventually obtaining a superb position of sixth, his momentum couldn’t be denied with round two quickly approaching.

As the city of San Francisco is the next to be conquered, both athletes and crew members of the FLO Motorsports backed Manluk Rock River Racing Team are motivated to secure another showing of solid results and performances. Knowing that they are prepared for the challenges of the Northern California racetrack, there’s no denying that this Yamaha team will be battling at the top of the leaderboard.
