Though the conditions in Northern California were challenging, the FLO Motorsports backed team at GizmoMods Rock River Racing was prepared to battle from start to finish, as action began in San Francisco. With team members and athletes working tirelessly after round one concluded, the effort for the Yamaha assembly was certain to be extraordinary as events began on Saturday.
In the 450SX division, Devin Simonson would speed through the practice round to the best of his ability. The demands of the track were a test for every racer on the circuit, with grooves being filled with water amongst constant rain fall. Simonson executed the rhythm lanes, whoop section, and corners of the San Francisco layout with remarkable precision; and after proving that his talent was top tier, he would be more motivated than ever to assemble an outstanding performance at round three of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series.
TJ Albright’s performance last week in Anaheim was tremendous, and the New York native proceeded to display his world-class skills for qualification in San Francisco as well. The Yamaha rider would pair doubling combinations through the largest rhythm section(s), with superb whoop speed amongst the demanding lane of obstacles. And with the venue of San Diego next to be competed upon, many expect Albright to be contending for main event position(s) once again.
The FLO Motorsports backed GizmoMods Rock River Racing team is set to travel to Southern California for next weekend’s competition, believing that their preparation will translate to notable feats as the final checkered flag waves. And with relentless determination and drive to succeed, the limits are endless for this distinguished Yamaha unit.
