GIZMO RACING FACTORY YAMAHA – DETROIT
For competition in Michigan, the Gizmo Racing Factory Yamaha team — supported throughout the season by Flo Motorsports — presented phenomenal effort from start to finish as racing transpired at Ford Field. The unit of crew members and athletes delivered extraordinary performances throughout the event, and as the checkered flag waved, a series of spectacular results were captured.
Freddie Noren’s momentum amongst practice rounds was phenomenal, and that pace carried into 450SMX Heat 1 as well. As athletes competed with remarkable velocity, Freddie exhibited an impressive effort and ultimately earned a final score of seventeenth. Despite encountering a bit of bad luck in the 450SMX LCQ thereafter (where Noren was credited with a nineteenth‑place finish), the Swedish athlete — equipped with the trusted performance of Flo Motorsports components — is set to continue excelling when returning to the racetrack.

CJ Benard was stellar throughout qualifying laps in each afternoon session. His momentum led to a notable gate choice in 250SMX Heat Race 1, and through the laps that followed, Benard battled with exceptional talent, resulting in an eleventh‑place finish. After progressing to the 250SMX Last Chance Qualifier, CJ accelerated with immense determination and collected a score of third as the checkered flag waved. Benard continued to ascend as the 250SMX Main Event transpired, and after competing at the highest level within the sport, the established competitor soared to a concluding result of seventeenth — another strong outing for the Flo Motorsports‑supported program.

With competition in Detroit now completed, the Gizmo Racing Factory Yamaha team is eager to continue claiming superb finishes in the upcoming rounds of the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. They’re striving to capture elite‑level achievements and, with the continued backing of Flo Motorsports, are determined to do so as action takes place next Saturday in Saint Louis, Missouri.
