Round 2 tested our Racers, crew & equipment as 100 degrees plus temperatures mixed with a demanding fast track left our team battered!
After a strong first moto, in which Flo Motorsports backed Grant Harlan made his way through the pack with a last lap pass into 15th, he carried that momentum into the second moto, looking to build on his solid performance and improve his overall standing for the day. However, first lap of the second moto saw Grant on the ground with 3 broken ribs & a laceration on a lung. He is back home now & already has his focus set on his return. Toughness is not even in question with Harlan as he hopes to be back in under a month.
Bryce Shelly & Kyle Wise aboard their Flo Motorsports backed Yamaha's both did great jobs on making the 40-rider field. Crashes for each of them kept them out of the points. However, both charged hard all the way to the last lap. Unfortunately, Jaxen Driskell & Bronson McClure both weren't able to qualify for the Motos.
