MUC-OFF FXR CLUBMX – PRE-RACE REPORT - ROUND 13 PHILADELPHIA – EASTWEST SHOWDOWN
A LOOK BACK AT FOXBOROUGH: Whenever there is a picture of our guys talking to Jason Thomas or Will Christian, it is a good day for Flo Motorsports backed ClubMX. Max Vohland checked another box by getting his first heat race win in Foxborough and did it in fine fashion. He got the holeshot, led every lap and won with a thirty second margin over second place. That for sure is a confidence builder in anyone’s book. Max’s story this season is well documented as he continues to build his way back to the top step of the podium. Adding a heat race win to his resume is just a sign of things to come. The main event in Foxborough was a just a matter of survival and not representative of his potential. The relentless rain and mud made for the most challenging conditions of the season thus far. Credit goes to all of the mechanics on our team and others for the amount of work and dedication they put in under those conditions. This is what we signed up for but that did not make the night any easier.

MAX VOHLAND #92: Max had a great start to the day in Foxborough with a heat race win however, the main event did not do him any favors. There were moments when he was near the front of the field but a few tip-overs relegated him back to eighteenth at the end of the race. The result was not indicative of his ability but more on circumstance of the conditions. Max is not one to make excuses and was certainly not happy with the result but takes it all in stride. Even at his young age, he has the wisdom and demeanor of a veteran that understands the long game. Max comes into Philadelphia with a positive attitude and another chance to show what he can do on a dirt bike. The point standing still shows him in nineth overall for the series and with three rounds left, he will have to put his head down and go to work if he wants to move up.

COTY SCHOCK #37: Coty, happy not to be racing in Foxborough, spent the training time working on some improvements to the bike. With it looking like rain in Philadelphia this coming weekend, the team has been practicing in the mud here at ClubMX. There was a substantial amount of rain in the area since Sunday so the track crew prepped the tracks for some mud practice. It creates some extra work for the mechanics, however they were all on board to make it happen. If you are going to race in these conditions, everyone on the team must embrace the idea of being successful in any conditions. Coty has been very vocal and supportive of the direction the team is going and his input has been very valuable to the teams growth and success. With two heat race wins on the season and a chance at three more, there seems to be no limit to what he can accomplish. Confidence and momentum are on his side as he rolls into Philadelphia this weekend – sitting fifth in points for the series.

DEVIN SIMONSON #88: Devin has made significant progress in an effort to return to racing and we have set East Rutherford, NJ as the time and place. Much to his credit, Devin has not complained one bit about his injury or situation since is happened earlier this season. His easy going attitude gels well with the rest of the team and his renewed commitment to fitness and nutrition have helped to expedite his return. Every day we can see the competitive fire return to Devin and once he puts his helmet on in New Jersey, we will see what he is capable of. Please welcome him back when you see him next week.
The ClubMX facility itself continues to grow, becoming an icon in the industry. I encourage you to make time to visit as the season winds down. There are some new facets to the property and the program that are worth seeing for yourself yet difficult to explain any other way. We all appreciate your continued support of our efforts and look forward to more highlights this weekend.
These recent YouTube videos are awesome as the team continues to perform at the highest level. Check out this one from Seattle.
